Flickr is OK. I think it could be better. Using clusters and other tactics to find certain types of photos was not helpful. I think Flickr works well for a person who is browsing but not so well for a person looking for something specific. Why, you may ask? Because the tags used by people are wholly subjective.

I love this photo. It's perfectly cropped, the B&W tone adds to the drama and the dancing in the water emphases the movement of the dancers feet by producing a tangible effect.

Music
Listening to music has always been a significant part of my life because it's essential to my hobbies. I've used the SIL streaming product for classical music. It's a bit cumbersome. I also stream using XM Radio through the subscription I bought with my car. I listen to http://www.1.fm/ and www.king.org quite bit, too. I don't create my own chanels because I like a variety and like to be surprised with what is played.

In the past I've used Squeet. It was OK but it is no longer available. RSS is OK. Sorry, but I don'thave strong feelings on way or another.
IM
A long time ago I used AOL's IM service. After a while I just starting calling my buddies when I saw them. I prefer to hear thier voices and the nuances of interpersonal communation.
